#DAVINCI RESOLVE STUDIO 12.5 COLOR EDITOR UPDATE#
This new DaVinci Resolve 12.5.1 update is the direct result of feedback from editors and colorists around the world. It’s the most exciting and most quickly downloaded version of the software we have ever released. With over 1,000 enhancements and 250 new features, the customer response to DaVinci Resolve 12.5 has been overwhelming. There have been basic editing functions added as well, such as the ability to make selections based on flags, markers, and clip colors.įor colorists, DaVinci Resolve 12.5.1 features faster Spatial Noise reduction in “better” mode, and new Generate Color and Tilt-shift Blur in ResolveFX. The update also give better H.264 playback on Windows and Linux. The program no longer requires QuickTime 7, and trimming and multicam work has a new 64-bit code to read and write. Video editors using PCs to edit in DaVinci Resolve will be thrilled to learn about the decode for Apple ProRes on Windows. Best of all, the lite version of DaVinci Resolve is still FREE to download. Now, the latest DaVinci Resolve 12 update (12.5.1) brings a massive amount of new features. It wasn’t long ago that Blackmagic’s DaVinci Resolve got a major boost, going from a color grading program to a full-on edit suite with NLE capabilities and stunning color grading platform.
